Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) has a reasonable ground transport infrastructure and passengers arriving at the airport can make transport choices based on their budget.

Free hotel shuttles or coaches are the best option and are invariably included as part of package holiday deals. Public buses are also available, while taxis provide a marginally more expensive alternative.

Buses

Public buses run from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C. The number 60 bus service runs to Las Palmas, while the number 66 runs to Faro de Maspalomas.

Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses may be provided by hotels as part of holiday packages; check with your travel agent at the time of booking, as this could save you a unreasonable standard fee that the taxi drivers like to charge new arrivals.

Hotel Shuttles

If you are planning to stay at a reputable hotel in a popular resort, then chances are there will be a shuttle service provided to collect you from the airport. Check the availability of shuttles when you book you hotel, so as to avoid any potential disappointment on arrival at the airport.

Taxi Cabs

Taxis are available from outside the Arrivals areas of all three airport zones. All taxis should operate on meters. If in doubt the approach the transport services desk in the Arrivals hall for assistance.

There are no limousine companies operating from Gran Canaria Airport (LPA).
